
Minister of Cooperatives Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Wyckliffe Oparanya has urged the youth to embrace business and agriculture to benefit from government plans to raise their living standards.
Speaking at a coffee farmers' awareness event in Butula earlier Busia County, Oparanya has also criticized ODM party leaders for removing some of them from power, saying that the move has made it difficult for them, especially in the western region which is the party's stronghold, to interact with the grassroots and even explain government policies considering that they are part of a broad-based government agreement with the ruling party UDA .
He urged ODM leaders to collaborate and eliminate divisions within the party to make the next general election a success and then resolve the challenges it faces after the election.
Moreover, Oparanya stated he is not afraid to those who have decided to mock him,he flashbacked the reign of the late Raila Odinga where he was also mocked fearlessly but he survived.
