The ruling reinstated Kakamega High School while Butere Boys High School were disqualified, confirming Musingu High School and Kakamega High School as Kakamega County’s representatives.

In one of the biggest surprises of the qualifiers, traditional football giants Ebwali High School failed to qualify, giving Mbale High School a chance to return to the regional championship after a long absence.
In Bungoma County, football powerhouse Kibabi Boys High School claimed the county title, while Bukembe Boys High School finished second to secure their place at the regional games. Busia County will be represented by S.A. Kolanya Boys High School and Nambale Boys High School, who also earned their spots after impressive county campaigns.
