The Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) Term2games held in Thika, Kiambu County, came to an end on 6th August, paving the way for the FEASSA 2026 games to be held in Morogoro, Tanzania, with different schools emerging as champions. Kakamega School are the 2026 KSSSA National Boys’ Football Champions after edging St. Mary’s Yala 3-2 after extra time to reclaim their 13th national title, while Menengai High finished third after defeating Takaba Mixed Day School 3 goals to 2 to book the last third place spot for East African games.
St. Joseph’s Girls Kitale emerged as the KSSSA National Girls Champions after edging out Nyakach Girls 7-6 on penalties. Archbishop Njenga Girls finished third to book their slot in FEASSA Games.

Chesamisi High School was crowned the national volleyball champions after defeating favorites Chepsaita 3-1 in the final of the KCB KSSSA Term 2B Games at the M-PESA Foundation Academy on Thursday.
The Isaac Muresha-led side started strongly, taking the opening set 25-23. Chepsaita responded to level the match with a 25-14 win in the second set.
Chesamisi regained control in a tightly contested third set, winning 25-23, before wrapping up the match with a 25-18 victory in the fourth set to claim the title on their national debut.
Kenya will now be represented by Chesamisi High School, Chepsaita and Matiliku Boys who finished third. While in the girl’s category, Kakamega County and Western Region 2026 Volleyball Girls Champions St. Martha Mwitoti will represent Kenya alongside Champions Kesogon and Runners up Soweto in the upcoming East African Championships in Morogoro, Tanzania

In the Netball event, Andersen Mixed was the champion in netball after defeating Bukokholo Girls, while Kaya Tiwi Mixed finished in position three. For Rugby 7s, Butula boys topped the competition while Cardinal Otunga, Mosocho and Bokoli Boys finished second and third, respectively, to book their participation in the East African Championship.
In girls Rugby 7s, Kinale girls won the title while Kimono Girls and Mbakalo Girls were second and third positions respectively. In 3×3 basketball, Agoro Sare emerged the champion in boys’ basketball while Ikutha Girls in girls’ basketball.
The Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association has announced the venues for the 2027 National School Games. Coast Region will host term one games while Rift Valley will be the venue for term 2 Games.
